What we collect, and what we do with it.

The short version: your resume and your answers are used to run your practice interview and write your feedback. Your voice recordings never leave your device. You can delete everything from settings in one click, and the delete button actually deletes.
What you give us
Your resume. The file is read in your browser — only the extracted text is sent to us, and only when you submit the form. We store that text so your interviews can be built from it.
The job description. Stored with the job it belongs to, so the questions and feedback stay tied to that role.
What you say in an interview. Your answers are transcribed and the transcript is stored, because that is what gets scored and what lets you see progress over time.
Your email address. Used to sign you in and to send the occasional message about your account. No marketing lists.
Your recordings stay on your device
When you practice out loud, the audio is saved in your own browser so you can play an answer back. It is never uploaded, we never hear it, and clearing it from settings removes it for good. If you use a different browser or device, the recordings do not follow you.
Who else sees it
Only the services that run the app: Anthropic writes the questions and the feedback, Neon stores the data, Netlify serves the site, Stripe handles payment, and Resend sends the sign-in emails. Nobody buys anything about you from us, because we do not sell it.
Your transcripts are not used to train any model, and they are never shown to another user.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it, or until you ask us to close your account. There is no quiet expiry and no archive you cannot reach.
Deleting it
Settings has three buttons: delete the recordings on this device, delete every interview and its feedback, and delete your account entirely. The last one removes everything, including your resume, and it cannot be undone. They all do what they say — this is not a promise to handle a request by email.
Cookies
One cookie, which keeps you signed in. No advertising trackers, no analytics that follow you around the internet.
Payment
Stripe handles it. We never see or store your card number.
